About Mother Earth TV
A public-interest environmental broadcasting network telling Africa's environment, culture and community stories — credibly, warmly, every day.
Mother Earth TV (METV) is a public-interest television and multimedia broadcasting network dedicated to environmental sustainability, culture, education, innovation, community development, journalism training and sustainable development. We exist to connect people to the planet — and to each other.
Our Vision
To become Africa's leading and most trusted media network championing environmental sustainability, education, cultural preservation, innovation and community empowerment for a better world.
Our Mission
To inform, entertain, educate, inspire and empower audiences through credible journalism and innovative storytelling that promotes environmental protection, human development, cultural preservation, education, accountability and sustainable progress.
Our Story
Mother Earth TV was founded on a simple conviction: that the people closest to the planet's challenges deserve to tell their own stories — and that good journalism can move a continent toward a more sustainable future.
From the mangroves of the coast to the highland farms of the interior, our reporters and community correspondents document the environment, culture and human development of the region with care and credibility. Under the banner "One Earth. One Voice.", we broadcast across television and digital platforms, and train the next generation of environmental storytellers along the way.
